Hi, I have questions about this...... Seems like I can only eat sliced deli meat turkey and cheese.  Anything else I eat I get sick.  It feels like something is stuck in there if I eat anything else and I feel so damn full!   I have to vomit to get it back out, it's like it wont go down! Is this normal?

I have never vomited so if you are doing that a lot, your experience is different than mine.  At your point in time, however, I think I was eating more soup than solid stuff.  But when eating, make sure you chew, chew, chew, and take your time.  It seems that when I ignore those rules I am reminded of them.  Good luck; I think you're within the normal range.

You may have a stricture.  Very common in RNY patients (10% get them).  Check with your doctor.  They may have to scope your pouch and enlarge beyond the pouch.  Get it checked out.  Small bites and whey portein till it gets checked out.  Brian

Sounds like you should be calling your surgeon if you are concerned.  My stomach took a long time to get back to normal.....I was really restricted for at least 2 months....so it could be nothing, or it could be that you need your surgeons intervention. Best call and find out.... Scott

Not 'Normal' but happens... Could be a stricture or nothing more than density of your food. Only the doc can tell. Call in the Morning.... Till then, don't pu**** Drop back and *****nd go with liquids, soups, and such till you get it looked at. Hope you are feeling better soon. Best Wishes- Dx

Can you burp when you need to? Talk to your Dr. I had trouble with strictures. My opening closed down to 4 mm. They like to see about 14 mm as I understand it. Needed 4 dialations to correct the issue. Not painful, just a procedure that pretty much ruins your whole day. I'm OK now.

I am in the "why won't this go down!" phase too.  I do have a stricture and it was down to 4mm.  The Pictures from the GE are interesting.  3 or 4 dilations and I will be ok.  Till then its liquids and purees.  MMMM!  Talk to your Dr. about it.  Nothing is as bad as not being able to eat ANYTHING.
