I've enjoyed the recent activity on this Forum

I'm glad that a lot of our regulars have expressed their feelings about this Men's Only Forum this week.  But, I'm even happier that a lot of the Male lurkers have finally posted.  I encourage this sort of commotion once in a while to stimulate our pride in our support group.  However, I do want to emphasize that I don't want women posting on this site. It is nice to come here and to hear from other men.  This is the place to be for support and I just wish there was a way to let more men considering WLS know that there is a Men's Only Forum where they can come and discuss life and WLS.   Yes, life and WLS since deciding to have WLS does impact our lives.  It's not just about the food, or the "diet," or the effects post-op.  The locker room is about Men, our lives, and WLS.  I've been on various forums in ObesityHelp.com since July,2000 but this has been my forum of choice  for most of the past year.  I did occasionally go to the addictions forum because of my addiction to sugar and white flour.  This is where I need to be and this is where I get my support. Thanks for being here to help me.

Hi Guys, Men, Males, Boys, Dudes, As some of you know, I am traveling without regular internet access, but I got to see the "hot" threads about men only today, "bad" language, etc. and boy am I glad I did. This is a great and wonderful forum precisely because it is for us guys, fatties and former fatties with a lot in common. I agree with sjbob today: the more guys the merrier. This is a special place, let's Man-Up and protect it. (Oh, by the way, my cat's best friend died, my stomach aches, I feel sorry for myself, can I eat a cup of sugar one day after surgery?. . . Oops, wrong forum!) Thanks guys.

funny there was post up for about 10 minutes from kathy. i gave her a "nice" blast and she took it well. now the post is gone! she must haved pulled it. it was a girlie post and she saw it for what it was and now it's gone. whew, close one!
