oh, you might be to new for this one. it was a running joke when they first started to let us post those teddy bears and **** on our tag lines. we had a limit of three emoticons per post and that was it. we all went ballistic when someone posted the first fairy. since then the fairy is our favorite emoticon! so i'm with you, when i see winny the pooh at the end of a post i **** on my computer screen.....carbonblob

I guess I missed something. I read through the afore mentioned post and the only thing I could come up with was "go xxxx yourself". I didn't know xxxx was obscene. It may be that the post was edited prior to my reading it. I do get the jist of it though. I am sure all of us has told some one to get screwed or have been told that by what we would consider a friend.  What I have always thought was the best thing about the locker room was this was a place where men could be men. We have just about every group of men represented that there is. Conservative, liberal, black, white, rich, poor, straight, gay and we all pretty much get along. I think we all try to find our comfort zone and go with the flow and try to contribute when we can.

If you got something to say, say it to the mans face. As far as I can see that is what happened here. Anything more than what has been said might be better off handled in PM's.

As far as what's her name posting on the mens forum, baja told her nice once and after her response, maybe she is not the sharpest tool in the shed. She opened herself up for it. Like CB I take great offense when women come on here to post this bull**** I try to be as civil as I can and redirect them to where they really want to go. It is nothing personal, I don't know them well enough to like or dislike them, they have no bussiness here. Not for that kind of crap any way. Valid inquires and issues will be answered. pan head

I'm sorry but I'm with most of you. It was several months before I found this forum and it made me so happy to find it.For such a long time I thought I was the only Guy looking for help,support, or just someone to post to other than the dramma on the other boards. Dramma that I personally don't care anything about, such as her post!! There's not one post I don't read everyday here and I hope it stays this way.

Guys, first off.... sorry for all the drama - but I kind of think that it just emphases the need to keep the broads outta here, IMO. I sure wish that I had it in me to offer an (insincere) apology, but I just not built that way.  I was told to "hush up" once, by the recent female poster... and once by a gentleman poster.  Both to which I responded (in a non-hostile manner), albeit in different versions, a hearty  GO F*CK YOURSELF (edited to save the moderators the trouble).  Over the top?  I'll cop to that.... seems to be my usual MO. A personal attack?  Nothing personal, but I give back what I receive. Hey, I'm funny that way I joined this board over a year ago, in order to have a refuge to discuss WLS issues free from the crap you see out on the main board.  I seemed to have joined this board a little late, as the board pioneers were much more vigilant in keeping this a Men's forum.  Female intrusions seem to be the case, more and more....  and seem to be encouraged as well. If that's the way that folks want it, I've got no problem with that.  If people think that I am crude, unrefined, uneducated, and of questionable breeding - well, they are correct   I think it would be a shame, however, to lose the one unique place that guys like us have. Anyhoooooooooo I promise that if I have a beef with one of you guys, I'll use the PM feature.  But I probably won't extend the same courtesy to our testosterone-challenged guests (unless they ask a sincere and cohesive question, of course).  I may be considered a misanthrope, but I would offer you guys that welcome female input here a challenge:  Pick any group or interest, and find an internet Women's Board  associated with it (there are thousands to chose from).  Go ahead and post a few times.... and see if your questions and ideas are welcomed and valued.  In fact, ask a few of our guys how their input worked out on the other female dominated WLS boards.  My opinion, if it isn't already obvious, is that we have a good thing here... and need to strive to keep it that way. - Chris

seriously dude, if you could be a color what color would you be? even though we're beating this post to death i gotta tell ya this is a great post. i haven't laughed this hard for a while. i love the responses. i'm trying to remember a thread that got buckeye going a while ago. scott, dx, dave do you remember the post? i just remembered it really started a war and women stayed out after that. oh man, we gotta find that post and let the guys see it. i think it would explain the history of our board.

What this forum needs is a sticky right at the top that lays out the ground rules of this forum. Mark it in big letters READ BEFORE POSTING. Then if someone comes in and ignores that and post anyway, they cant say they didnt know. I know some will say "but doesnt mens forum say it all?" and the truth it is really doesnt. It just says this is where men can find other men that have had WLS. It doesnt exclude women by calling it a mens forum. I can see where lots of women would see that and think, oh there is a place I can get mens opinions! That is not what this forum is for, it should be in the ground rules. I dont like personal attacks on anyone, no matter how much I may feel they deserve it, (I am not refering to what has happened here today), and I dont like drama.  I just think ground rules would eliminate most if not all of it. I got no issues....we're all big boys, and most of us probably agree this kind of junk belongs in the other forums not here. Now somebody pass me a towel so I can roll it up and snap it on the flabby pre-plastic surgery belly of one of the other bro's hanging around here!
