Nautilus vs. Free weights
I didn't want to get that into it, but I agree with these guys. Heavy compound movements have built more muscle than anything else out there. It's how I have always trained basically.
Big thing to understand is if you go hard and heavy on basic compound movements...you're routine won't be all that long. You don't have to do 10 different exercises for your chest, shoulders and triceps if you're really benching heavy.
If you can lift for more than 60 minutes, you're not working hard enough. You want to feel a good pain...go squat or deadlift for a hour. Just 1 exercise. Trust me. You'll feel it all over your body.
