OK, I know this is a topic often visited here on the board and the common answer is to refer folks to Under Armour and the like.......BUT...... I need a really good compression garment and I'm willing to pay out the cash.  I intend to start some hard core running training and will need something that will keep things in place while running.  I'm currently leaning towards a one-piece type of thing. Any experienced suggestions from you running types would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Danny

You COULD get the onesie looking jumpsuit thing but I'm pretty sure it would do the same thing as an UnderArmor compression sleeveless shirt tucked inside a pair of UnderArmor compression shorts.   That's what I've been using for months and it works great.   I usually buy them a size below the shirt or shorts I'm wearing and they do the trick.

I've seen the onesie, wetsuit looking garments sold on Ebay but they were pretty expensive and didn't look like they promoted persperation with the 'breathable' material like the UA gear does.

Hi Danny, This subject has come up many times and i took the advice of someone from the locker room and bought the BCG compression shirts from Academy Sports.  The are thicker than the UA, have more spandex and don't have the logo.  They fit tight - very tight and unlike UA, I bought these the same size that I wore and they held me in and still hold me in very well while I run, cycle or swim.  As a matter of fact, i also where the white ones as under shirts when wearing a dress shirt - keeps me held in and flap free The fact that they're $12.99 each is just an added bonus http://www.academy.com/index.php?page=content&target=product s/apparel/mens/athletic/bcg/all

Take Care,
Clifford

You guys have totally lost me here ..  what do you mean by "compression garments"?   are you talking about the wraps we wear for lymphedema?   or are you talking about binders like they wear after open inciisons until the incision heals?     ???

I wore compression shorts under my pads for football to prevent chafing way before I was fat.   I wear them now because they hold in my loose belly skin & "old man ass" and prevent them from flopping around when I run.

Here's a link to some UA gear.

Shorts - http://www.finishline.com/store/catalog/product.jsp?productI d=prod586860

Compression top -  http://www.finishline.com/store/catalog/product.jsp?productI d=prod586838

Lots of other brands make compression gear too.   I personally like UA the best for it's breathability but I own other brands as well.

Yeah they are kinda like that but they are meant to be worn as underwear.  At least the shorts are.  I wear both the top and bottoms under my t-shirt and shorts.
