Well, this surgery just continues to amaze me.  This has probably been my worst week so far in respect to following the guidelines.  I've been super busy at work.  On top of that there's been all of the usual holiday stuff.  That's added up to some missed meals, skipped workouts, etc.  Despite that my pouch has kept right on doing its things, and I've managed to lose 10 lbs. this week! Highest Weight:  335 lbs Weight Last Week:  195 lbs Weight This Week:  185 lbs Total Weight Loss:  150 lbs! I'm only about 1 BMI point away from being "normal" and 15 pounds away form goal!

Kind of slowed down, but I know from reading here that happens at 3 or 4 weeks for a lot of people. Not sweating it too much, I also haven't walked as much as I should this week. Went to the Doc last Monday and he gave me the ok to get in the gym and start working out. Planning on hitting the gym in the morning after work and seeing if things start to pick up a bit. I went in for my third fill (Adjustment) Wednesday of this week. I found that my band had seaped down to 4.1 cc’s. It is now re-filled up to 6.25 cc’s.  I had almost forgotten what it felt like to have that much restiction. I feel like I am back in control now. I was maintaining, and even losing slowly (10# loss) while I was needing a fill, so that proves to me that I have made significant improvement to my eating lifestyle, but with 45# left to the Doctors goal, and 75# left to my goal, I am glad to have my ‘old friend’ back to help out. With that all being said, here are my results to date. 05Oct06          389.0   -           Initial Consult with Illinois Bariatric Clinic 30Jan07           359.6   -           Lap Banding Day\ 08Mar07         First Fill          Band is at 4cc’s 16Apr07         Second Fill     Band is now at 6cc’s 06Dec07          Third Fill        Band is now at 6.25cc’s 02Dec07          272.4   -           Last Sunday 09Dec07          271.4   -           1.0# Loss since last Sunday 117.6# Loss overall 88.2#   Loss since surgery 1.0#     Loss since last band fill Starting BMI = 57.44 Current BMI = 40.07
