I have added some new pics to the picture section of my profile page from my recent hiking trip to Stone Mountain, NC . It was 8 miles of strenuous rated trails with 800ft of elevation change in just over a mile up and two miles down. Just two short years ago I weight 460 pounds and could barely walk to my car at the end of the workday and now I am leading mountain hikes. For those that don’t believe that WLS will change your life, I say kiss my small hair butt…. Good Luck my brothers!!

Boner and Dex, Thanks guys, it’s always great to hear from ya'll. It really has been a great ride so far. I have a goal of hiking the 300 mile of the Appalachian Trail in 30 days over the summer of my 50th birthday. I can do ten mile in a day easy; my best is 16 miles in a day on intermediate to strenuous trails. The real trick is doing it everyday for 30 days. My plan is to work up to it over the next 18 months. I can go for three straight days at this point without too much drain on my system. This summer I'll do a solid two week on the trail in the Cherokee Forest and it that goes well I'll adjust from there. Take Care, Tim
