Tomorrow's My Day
I'm finishing up everything I need to do before I head to the hospital at 6 a.m. tomorrow. I'm feeling pretty calm right now and 100% dedicated to my new life. I'm ready to tackle whatever this new chapter brings me. When I was a kid I was into alcohol and drugs - I know it medicated the shame of being so overweight, so I had addiction to contend with earlier in my life. I have overcome the gauntlet of drug addiction, including alcohol and the most addictive of all - nicotine. This surgery seems like a natural next step - wrestling down the weight of an eating addiction and an unhealthy lifestyle. I'm Ready!
I have gained so much from this list! A lot of my questions are answered here before I even ask them. I depend on Randy's daily Coffee Talk and the wisdom of those of you who are "elders" in this WLS tribe.
See you on the loser's bench!

Welcome to your rebirth day, and the ride of your new life. It is a great tool, and if you take care of it, it will take care of you. Good luck and God’s speed for a speedy recovery.
