Yep, like most have said, the protein is the most important thing to work on right now, well that and watter. Relax and stay on program, things will start moving again. Check out your clothes, are they getting looser even though the scale is "stuck"? If so, YOU ARE STILL LOOSING WEIGHT!
Get it hot, hit it HARD,
Hammering away the pounds!

Yup. Like others have said here...keep the protein going in and the fat will leave....honest it will! Plateaus are a part of the whole process (Dx has posted often on this and all GOOD things to remember, so do a seach on 'plateaus') and we all have 'em for a bit...then the fat starts to leave again.... WooHoo...welcome to the club too! Jim

Dude - you got nothing to worry about.  You will lose for reasons you can't even explain.  I, too started at 355 and am now at 237.  You'll probably even do better than that.  Keep the WL faith!!!

Hey Troy, Don't beat yourself up.  You've lost 35 lbs in a little over a month, and that is nothing to sneeze at!  I'm not sure what guidelines your doctor/nutritionist gave you, but according to mine the most important things you need to be focusing on are: 1.  Water (minimum of 6 - 8 oz glasses each day) 2.  Protein (minimum of 60 grams each day) 3.  Vitamins 4.  Exercise The water should be no problem.  Just keep something with you and sip on it all day long.  If you're not a big water drinker, try the crystal lights or their alternatives.  I'm sure you'll find something you like enough to drink 6 glasses a day.  At this stage it is going to be impossible to get your protein in without using some type of supplements.  I recommend the EAS flavored protein powder or the Pure Protein Bars.  Very easy to get 30+ grams in one shake/bar.  The vitamins should be whatever your doctor recommends.  If you're not exercising, you need to get in the habit now.  Start small and build to what you can, but the key is to start!  Keep posting here to get support from the guys.  They're all very helpful.

Troy, I also started about the same weight about 15 months ago. I now weigh 223. If I can do it, anyone can. You need to keep something to drink with you and sip on it throughout the day. Try to eat more times a day, think protein first. If you're eating chicken and some veggies, eat the chicken first because that's where the protein is. The problem early on is you have to consume 6 ounces of chicken for about 20 grams of protein. You would have to eat over a pound of chicken to get up to 60 grams. I'd bet your doc want you to get in more than that. Mine said 101 grams of protein a day for me. So drinks high protein shakes instead, jus****ch the carb count in the shakes. I believe Dx has a great list of low carb protein shake recipes.  P.S. I had lost about the same as you at 6 weeks out. Stop worrying so much.  Ronnie
