Hi Guys! It looks like Dx is not here today.  So I'll start the weigh in. I gained 1 lbs.this week, which I attribute to Thanksgiving.  My wife made apple pie with Splenda.  And, I had some sugar-free ice cream made with Splenda.  In addition, I consumed all of the normal Thanksgiving specialities, along with a couple of glasses of wine.  I still managed to get my regular exercise though.

Overall, I'm down 142 since surgery, and down 161 from my highest weight!

375/215/214 (1 lbs. below goal)

Hi all!  Thanksgiving went well except for a little dumping episode.  I didn't think and ate a piece of sweet potato cassarole.  Didn't realize until it was already in my mouth how much sugar it had.  Other than that , all went well. Thanksgiving was only two weeks out for me, so I had a deviled egg, first solid food since surgery. It went down fine, tasted really good and filled me up. The rest smelled so good, but after eating the egg, I just enjoyed the aroma and had no problems missing the other stuff. Hey guys, light turnout this week, I guess all that turkey and football has guys sleeping in today. I reached 225 mid-week a month ago but quickly rebounded six pounds and then bounced around.  I'm finally at a new low again so I hope things are going in the right direction.  I'm excited about the possibility of celebrating my first Christmas in my adult life not "obese." Here are my stats 35 weeks post-op: Highest Weight 375+ Pre-Surgery Weight 350 Last Week 227.0 This Week 223.6 Week Loss 3.4 Total loss so far 151 Loss since surgery 126

Hi All, Up 1 pound this week--not bad for Thanksgiving week (though I ate pretty wisely: 3-4 oz pork roast (not turkey), portion of potato. Still, up is up. So back to work downward. Highest:          345 Today:            214 This week:        +1 Total loss:      132

Hey Gang, Big week for me.  I had my 3 month post-op on Tuesday, and the Doctor and nurses were all amazed at how well I have been doing with my surgery.  I spoke with my doctor and got a more realistic goal weight (170 lbs vs. 145 lbs), so I've updated my ticker to reflect that.  The doctor said that honestly she would just be happy if I got under 200, but it looks like that will happen any time now.  Thanksgiving went well.  I sampled a little bit of everything, but didn't over do it.  I left feeling satisfied, but definitely not stuffed like I would have previously.  This also marks one week since the start of my new workout routine.  MWF is 30 minutes on the treadmill followed by 30 minutes of weight lifting.  The rest of the week I do 60 minutes on the treadmill.  Here are the current stats: Highest Weight:  335 lbs Weight Last Week:  205 lbs Weight This Week:  203l bs

Jim, Thanks for getting it started again. I’m still on the road and in technical rehearsals and lost track of the day. Last 5 days I’ve been in at 7:30am and after a day in the dark theater I’m out by 12:30 the following morning… All day every day with no sense of when it’s light or dark outside, Even with the break (day off for Thanksgiving) It gives that same disconnect from reality…. I have no idea if my weight is up or down by a pound or two, But clothes still fit the same as always…. Hope all is going well for you! Best Wishes- Dx
