Well, my ISP is up and working!  WOO HOO!  They found a broken wire down the road and worked diligentyly to get it fixed.  Even in the rain.   Poor guys had to work in the rain all day to fiind it and get it repaired.   I missed you all!   So, what are you thankful for today?  Really, sit back and think about this for a second.  What are you REALLY thankful for?  We have SO much to be thankful for.  We have freedom.  We have our country, our families, our health, our homes, jobs, cars, and food to eat.  We have freedom of religion, and we have freedom to vote.  SO MUCH TO THANK GOD FOR!  I love my children and I thank God that I have LIFE to take care of them.  I also thank God for you guys!  You are my BLESSING! Who's up?  What cha sipping this a.m.?  I'm enjoying some awesome Dunkin' Donuts fresh ground.  Sure is good!   Are you cooking?  I have my turkey in the oven, pumpkin soup is made, I have dressing ready to finish and I have my great northern beans in the crock pot.  YUMMY!  It's smelling good at the Culpepper home!   Ya'll have a WONDERFUL and blessed THANKSGIVING!  Give thanks today in ALL things!

I was up early and made my dressing, the way mom and her mother used to make it and I got the  turkey in the oven at 11:00. I could feel mom's spirit beside me, guiding me as I cooked. It is only my brother and I, but we will use mom's "good" china, her crystal wine glasses and my great grand mothers serving platter. 2007 has been a year full of blessings for me. In March I met someone that has become very special to me, and then in May I got a job with the state and their health insurance covers WLS!. On July 1 I went on the state's health plan and I called Anthem, gave my id # and yep WLS is covered 100% with no conditions! WLS is a go!!!!!! As of right now all my pre-op tests are scheduled and I plan on surgery in early spring, as I have to wait to accumulate enough sick time. It has taken me almost 2 years to reach this point, and now its on my door step. I wonder what the rest of 2007 will bring?
