A toast for the losers in the room: "As I raise my water bottle way up high, instead of reaching for the turkey thigh, i remember the words that Dx said, 'Tis better to listen to your pouch  than to eat to much and have to ralph ....." Happy Turkey Day Gentlemen !!!

After seeing all the "I'm thankful for X" posts on the main board I think I'll post here what I'M thankful for...  :)

I'm thankful for the cool machine that slices bread so nice and neatlike, for fruit roll-ups and for Mr. Potato Head.   Oh, and the number 8.  I'm thankful for the number 8.   :)

Happy Thanksgiving!  Have a great day guys.

Happy Thanksgiving, Dx!

Was surprised - at a full plate of T-day food (at the local foreigners' bar/ restaurant).

Of course, I had to reverse the order, mashed potatoes and gravy first, followed by finely chewed stuffing...then came the turkey and a yam. Had to skip the veggies and could only eat part of a slice of pumking pie later on. They just wouldn't fit in.

Leftovers? I think they're still in my pouch this morning (10 hours later, Friday morning here in Japan).

Hope yours went well,

Dave

I haven't had the surgery yet (scheduled next month), but aren't you afraid of stretching your pouch too much?  Just curious.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Hi George,

It wasn't really that much volume-wise. I had the soft stuff first and that turned to liquid. Then I chewed the other stuff really well. The true gauge of whether your are over-stuffing is if you throw up. I didn't.

Dave
