How Many Of You Are Double (or Triple) Cent. Club Members?
wow - quite inspirational, and congrats guys! ^5 although I feel like a "light weight" compared to some of you, we all be big losers!
It would be interesting to do a comparison study to see what common factors the Double Century (and Triple Century Club) members all share in common, esp. the ones that have reached goal .. In other words, what have they done besides just having the surgery to make their weight loss so successful .. (was it aided by a certain routine of exercise or diet? the presence of a supportive family? etc. etc.). I hope someday OH Magazine will do a story on the guy side of WLS and maybe feature some of our stories ..
Looks like "Big Al" is our biggest loser of the gents that posted (but is the 600+ lb. weight loss mentioned in your post a typo? - I think your highest weight was like 544 lbs. on your profile (?)) ... I thought it esp. impressive, happy, fortunate, touching, etc. that you were able to find a "very loving wife" @ your pre-op weigt of 544 lbs., and that she not only "rescued" you but has stuck by you all this time over the years - sounds like she is a "keeper"! .. (and so much for my lifelong excuse of never even being able to attract a g/f b/c of my 460+ lb. girth! &:-D )
Thanks for the responses, everyone ..
