Major FART.
Definitely accomplished a first yesterday. The hospital where I had my RN'Y four years ago, celebrated its fifth year being designated as a Center of Excellence (1500 surgeries) by having a major celebration. They had a fashion show. I was one of the fifteen "models" (only four guys)asked to walk the runway. It was a major event for the hospital, and was actually covered by several newspapers and TV news stations. All of the pizzazz was overwelming. They interviewed and vidoed each of us individually, and we each had a private photo shoot. They told our story as we walked downed the runway to standing ovations and catcalls. It was great to hear my bio. There were around 500 people in attendance. It was a lot of fun, showing off in business casual attire. To have both of my surgeons (Dr. Irgau and Dr. Wynn) praising me at the recreption afterward, for my commitment, means the world to me. I know this won't lead to a change in careers, but it sure was fun to be recognized for what I have accomplished, and to be able to strut my stuff! OK, I'm done gloating and now I need to go for a long run and come back down to earth for awhile.

Way to go Rob,...thats great!
I wouldn't fight the coming back to earth part too hard. You've earned it.
I been enjoying your successes on the Exercise board too.
Once you become a buff studly babe magnet, you just just have to learn how to deal with the attention. Life can be hard like that sometimes.
