Good Morning Guys! I guess Dx isn't here this morning.  So I will get started. I'm exactly the same as last week--no gain or loss.   Overall, I'm down 143 since surgery, and down 162 from my highest weight!   375/215/213 (2 lbs. below goal)

Way to step up there, Jim.

Hope we don't make Dx "Exremely Sad" or anything!  I dropped another 3 this week and happy about it. Brings my Total Loss to 208!!

Let's see...last week I was just under 165 for a new all time low. This week I'm up two lbs to about 167.

Since I'm doing everything I'm supposed to, I don't think these posts are ever going to be too exciting, so...

Things to ponder about WLS long term?

1. If you are super vigilant about getting your vitamins and protein in, you can feel a lot better post-op than you did pre-op, by far.

2. Never full? Try eating every 2.5 hours and adding a fistfull of blanched almonds as a snack in between that. Also, get the water in right before the meal. My guess is with this plan, you'll actually get somewhat sick of eating.

Have a Great Week,

Dave

Been some time since i posted on a sun.  Mostly because I quit stepping on the scale for the added shock value of waiting a month or so. sw        1-22-07          384 today                            216 For the last month or so my appetite has increased but my weight loss is continuing at a good rate.  I ahve tried to increase my intake a little (1600 cal/day) and I am feeling a little better. Another 16 pounds and I will reach my optimistic goal.  Before my surgery I was hoping for 230 or 225.  It seems I was meant to be a little lighter than that so... Off of all my bp meds and now if I could get my back to cooperate I would be in 100% I thought I would be worried about holidays as far as eating was concerned but have learned that I have control over what I eat and i am looking forward to stuffing myself with turkey (all 6 ounces of it) JIm D I have addeed a new pic in my profile if anyone is interested

Al - That is just freaking amazing!!! Your pre-op work is outstanding in itself but your overall success is just phenomenal!!! Keep it up; you are truly inspirational.
