It Does Get Easier/Different, Each Week!
Yes, using the scales can make some crazy,
(Slower loss is Still Loss!)
-But-
Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!"
Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss.
I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more
If the numbers climb just a little.
That way,
I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine.
If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?"
Then STAY OFF of Them!
But for those who Are weighing in-

Capricious; Impulsive, Semi-Predictable
Hi Dx,
Thanks for the input on the vitamin issues. No side effects yet, but better safe than sorry.
This week I'm almost the same, but still at a new all time post-op low of 164.34 (calculator convertion from 74.7 kg.).
Since I'm almost the same every week (hardly change even if I exercise 4 hours in a day), I'll try every week to list some new post weight loss discovery:
This week's discovery?
You can never reach/ discover full flexibility potential until you are actually thin. At 5'9, my gut got in the way until I was wearing 32 jeans (29-30 slacks). Just an additional 5% bodyfat also seems to have quite a negative affect on balance, too. Not trying to encourage wasting or anything, but I would suggest not settling for overweight, if you can possibly avoid it (in spite of what the news may say about overweight people having lower incidence of cancer).
Have a Great Week,
Dave
Another week of holding steady and happy about it.
I'm starting a new exercise regiment this week and will be anxious to see how it works out.
So by the numbers.........
All time high: 441 lbs @ 5' 10" for a BMI of 63.2 - Super Morbid Obese
Today: 236 lbs @ 6' 0" for a BMI of 32 - Obese
Total loss of 205 lbs - That's a whole overweight person!!!
Being a loser is the greatest victory you will ever know!
