Hi Bob,

I'm so glad to hrear you're home.  It must be great to be around the whole family again.  Sorrry you still have some issues but we will continue ti keep you and your family in our prayers.

I also have unexplained numbness in my upper legs since surgery.  Mine may have been from table positioning and pressure points.  Now it's more of a nuisance than anything.  Nuerologist said it may or may not improve but for now I can handle.

So glad to see your post.

Welcome home.

BRian

Please Keep Bob, Lori, and family in your Prayers.

Good that your home. I suspect it's pressure points also. God willing that will pass too. Randy

Bob....your in my prayers...I am glad that you are home......as for the numbness...if the neurologist can't find anything in your blood work (i.e. low copper levels )...then it could jsut be "pinched" nerves.  All that time in bed, seditary....really hurt the body.  You might want to get some PT and possibly some chiropractic care. Bob! What a wonderful surprise to see you post. You and your family have been in my prayers from the time we heard the news. I myself am 6 days post op. Boy did I think of you a lot as the day drew closer. The night before surgery I tucked my boys into bed and my four year old asked why are you sad daddy. No way to tell a four year old what you are about to go through so I just told him that I wasnt sad, I told him sometimes people cry when they love someone very much, and that I loved him and his brothes that much and that I hoped they would always know that their daddy loved them more than anything in the world. Having the surgery was cake compared to walking out of their room that last time. I want you to know Bob, that your story, only reminded me of what good god can do, not what can go wrong. I have no doubt that your road ahead may be tough, but I also know your in the best hands in the world. As to the hands going numb, I am having that as well. I have given up my pain meds as of today. I think the narcotics had something to do with it, though I may be entirely wrong, because it always happened when I was sleeping under the influence of them. I will see if it still keeps happening now. Best of luck my friend, Keep us posted Troy

Hi Bob.  I'm, so glad your home and on your way to recovery.  I felt so bad when I'd heard it, and wished I'd talked to you longer when you called me the day before your surgery.  I can't answer any of your questions, but I think DX already did.  try to get well for yourself and your family, and be sure that everybody at OH, shown by the prayers and support for you, consider themselves to be a part of your family. Dear bob, While I'm not a religious person, I did say "a little something" each night before bed on your behalf. Its nice to see that hopefully my "little something" helped bring you home. Peace and Health, --==Rich==--
