Just wondering what most eat in the morning. I eat oatmeal add extra fiber for regularity and a slice of raisin toast. Some mornings I have egg/ bacon taco, occasionally fresh fruit.

I have the same thing every morning. I start with 1 Tbl spoon of butter and saute one heaping Tbl spoon of onions and bell pepper add one beaten xl or jumbo egg, when soft scrambled put on a plate and top with a quarter cup of sharp cheddar cheese. To add a little zip some days I shake on some hot sauce or extra hot salsa. I use to never eat breakfast. My Nut says you need to fuel the engine first thing in the morning, so I take the time to do it. Some mornings I can eat it all, some I may leave a bite or two.  pan head

Breakfast is usually one of three things. A protein shake, a protein bar, or a South Beach breakfast wrap. I am kind of over the wraps though, they aren't very good. Weekends I may make an egg or 2 with a piece of light sausage. Eric

i usually have a protein shake for breakfast on weekdays, sometimes made with skim milk, sometimes made with coffee sometimes even add a banana to it..  sometimes I will have a small bowl of ricotta cheese instead. I find with the lap band that eating early in the morning is difficult.  weekends, I have 1 or 2 eggs scrambled with light cheddar cheese on top and 1 slice of light wheat bread toasted or a nice ripe banana.

If I’ve got the time, 2 eggs scrambled with cheese. Many days I’ll have a half cup of leftover meat dish from night before,

Rolled into an omelet with cheese. That’s most common….. If in a hurry, Special K High Protein Cereal (no milk) -with yogurt mixed in and a half a cup of Strawberries, blueberries, any berry.  ****ep a few bags of the frozen ones) Some days I have oatmeal. Best Wishes- Dx

Most mornings I have about 3/4 cup of Fat Free Cottage Cheese with Salt/Pepper.  I've always loved Cottage Cheese, and it fills me up, and I'm still in the losing stage, so it's carb free and high protein.   On weekends, i'll usually make an egg beater omelette with veggies, cheese, and FF sour cream and salsa.

Gerald Most days I make a 1 egg (size large egg) omelet with 1/4 cup of 2% Shredded Kraft Mexican Mix Cheese inside and add about 1-2 tablespoons of Light SourCream and some salsa on top.  I tried to go to 2 eggs, but that was too much to eat. Good Post - gives everyone some ideas. Chris Start 326/Goal 175/Now 168 RNY 10-25-06

Since 2 weeks post op (almost 19 months now, hard to believe) I have had the same thing for breakfast every morning, 8 oz. 2% milk with Unjury protein shake mix, alternate vanilla and chocolate every other day.  I know it sounds like a bore and people ask me how I dont get tired of the same thing day after day, but I love the stuff.  I put the milk in the freezer for about 20 minutes while I take a shower, ice cold by the time I shake it up.  UMMmMM!!
