My Pre OP day.

 OK today is the day after pre op and all I can say is what a day!  Ok here is how it started but first let me tell you about the day before Sunday I washed and wax my car we had the fires here in San Diego and my car was all ash and dirt  I washed and waxed it and I think I left my radio on too long because about 4 hours later I went to take my wife out and the battery was dead, I got it back up and drove it a while to try and get it recharged but it still said battery low.  I was thinking I am not going to make my pre op well maybe this is a sign right well my wife said no this is not a sign you just left you car on too long and no sign you are going to your pre op.  Well the next day the car started fine and I made it I was suppose to be at the Dr at 0830 but I got in the parking lot at 0730 because it always get full and you have too walk about 1 mile to get too the clinic.  I got to the clinic at 0815 then waited as asked but at 0855 I said did you guys forget me and sure enough they did the clerk did not put my paperwork in the Dr files for me too see him and after looking for my files she found them and gave them to the nurse and she took me straight to get my vitals I had lost even more weight that the scale in my home said I did I was at 309 not 311 so the Dr was happy.  After seeing the Dr I had too do all the pre op paperwork the one where you tell who what where and all that stuff, next was the nurse giving me a bottle of clear stuff that I don’t think I am going to like and she says drink this the day before at 1100 am and not too eat anything except clear stuff on the 11 and 12 and nothing after 1200 pm on the 12^th wow three days without food me.  Well after her I had to see the anesthesiologist he asked me more questions that I had answers for, like in 1998 aug I had heart surgery and I for some reason stopped breathing (not good) they had too do CPR and do a tracheotomy on me and did not what that to happen again so he asked me what happed I said I have the paper work in my file I gave a copy to my Dr. this morning.  I had given it to his assistant and he did not send it over so I went back too look for the files I just gave him and sure enough it was in my files along with more stuff that should have been given to the anesthesiologist well after him reading everything he says open you mouth and stick out your tongue.  Well then I get some bad news he says that they might need to stick the breathing tube down my throat while I am awake I said you better have a lot of people to hold me down because I don’t think that too be a great ideal so he looked at me like you think it am worried well I told him about once I did knock down some nurses once that they thought I was out but was still kind consciences and did now know what I was doing and that the nurse where not ladies but big nurses that I think I hurt so imagine me awake when you try this I said.  He and I just looked at me and then he said well we will see in the operating room all I said was fine see you there.  And after all day without eating from 0700 to 3:30 getting out I was not in the best of moods so I did not have a good day and did not want to write what happed on this board and write things that might sound like I changed my mind because I almost did say well never mind about this but I know this is for the best and I will stay on track.  Well guys that was my day at pre op yesterday.
