Dave (Our Colonel Sanders) UpDate..

F-antastic! A-wesome! R-eally! T-errific!  NEWS! I just got off the phone with Dave (Our Colonel Sanders) And he has pulled through one hell of a storm, but on this side now! For those just tuning in to our ongoing story-lines….. Dave Rigsby was the driving force behind Many of us getting together in Lexington over a year back. He has recently under gone chemo to battle his Cancer. Quick Excellent news- is that the Chemo seems to have done it’s magic! It kicked his tumors’ rear. While doing so however, it also ripped Dave’s Stoma a new one. Massive bleeding ulcer, some shaky days with a lot of internal blood loss. But, he’s made it through. Along the way he has found a few new funny words for “digestive medical occurrences” (when Farts have more substance that sound or odor) And had a Gastroenterologist (sp?) who could pass as a Playboy Bunny If not for her evident Medical expertise. He wanted me to pass on “Thanks” for all the thoughts and prayers. He sounds in great spirits. Soon he’ll be back to something beyond a feeding tube, And is looking toward the longterm. He and Bob McQueen are both headed onward and upward. Dave’s made it over the falls in a barrel, Now there’s that slow journey back up the hills to find where he parked the car! J

Way to go Dave - I knew you'd kick that cancer's ass!    Just goes to show ya...you can't keep a good man down! I was just looking at some pics from the event last year in Lexington and the last one was Dave dressed up as the reincarnation of Colonel Sanders himself! Dx - thanks so much for the update! CF

Thanks for the update DxE, I am glad to hear he is winning the fight.  He was obviously quite concerned going into it.  Thanks for letting us in on his status and tell him I said hey next time you talk.  My uncle had the cancer he is dealing with and recovered also.
