Friday Coffee Talk. OK Guys LISTEN!
WOO HOO! It's finally Friday! Wanna do the happy
? Have you got big plans for the weekend?
Our challenge today is to listen. Guys, can I talk to you for a minute? We tend to tune our kids and wives out too often. PLEASE, if your kids want to talk to you, LISTEN. If your wife is needing to talk to you, LISTEN! As I reflect on the past, I see SO many times my wife wanted to talk to me and I tuned her out or I told her later, or I was too busy. How I wish now she was here for me to talk to. Don't wait till it's too late or that time has passed you by and you can't LISTEN! Sometimes we get so busy talking and we get busy with everything going on around us and we fail to hear what is really going on. Maybe your spouse, your children, your parents, your friends and even a co-worker may need you just just sit down and listen. We all need to be heard, but is anyone listening any more? We are so caught up in life till we fail to HEAR. Please, listen. Stop today and take some time to listen if someone needs to just talk. They will appreciate it, believe me!
So, who's up this morning? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm enjoying some awesome Black Mountain Gold Hazelnut Cream. My my my how I love my coffee!
I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Friday!

Hi Randall,
Powerful, timeless message here. My father died 12 years ago this coming January, and just about every day I wish I could talk to him and listen to him. And we were close--but no matter, I could have listened more and paid more attention. So I try to remember this last lesson that our loved ones leave us when they die, a lesson that's a gift: The reminder that we're all temporary here so let's not take each other for granted.
Appreciate your posts. Thank you.
Doug
