I'm Good to Go !!!!

Well Guys, Looks like I freaked out about being in the 97% for depression for no reason. Talked to a psychiatrist and she said I just had some anxiety going on, no big deal but enough the skew the tests. Anway they past me and I completed all my other requirements (i.e. EKG, Labs, Post-Op screen, etc..). So I am a Go for November 6th. I am totally excited and can't wait to get on the road to a better and healthier life. I give all the praise to God !!!

Way to go guys!  I'm approved also, and just waiting on a surgery date!  Looks like  we're going to have several of us going thru the 'birth pains' at the same time.. LOL. God is good!  (all the time  ) Dale

Hey, congratulations to both of you guys!  My advice to you is to start shopping at Goodwill for smaller sizes NOW!  You'll be amazed how quickly it comes off after the surgery.  I had mine in August, and I've lost 3 shirt sizes and 4 pants sizes so far!

Well, I was going to do my own post to introduce myself, but after reading this I decided to do it here. Why you ask??  Because I have a tentative date for November 9th. Seems there will be a number of us the first part of November. I posted in the Oregon board, then found you guys, so I figured I better jump in and say hi. I say tentative because I still need final approval from the insurance. We are anticipating it will be OK'ed with no problem. (I have really good insurance) They want me to have a Cardio checkup first though. It seems when I went in to have the sleep study done, the doctor noticed a had a slight irregular heart beat and they want it checked. I have a cardiac consult set up for next Tuesday. I was low on vitamin B1 when I had it checked about a month ago, so I have been taking a large dose of a Complex B Vitamin for the last few weeks to bring it up. I will be going to get it rechecked early next week. If those things come out ok, I will be good to go for the 9th. Well, I will be looking forward to chatting with you guys more in the next year.....
