Big Stinky Fart

Hey Guys, My wife and I were discussing her companies Christmas party this morning and I said that I was planning on wearing my suit that I bought when I graduated back in '97. I wore it one time and have not had it on since then.  I have lost 53 pounds since August and was curious as to how it was fitting now. I dug it out of my closet and decided to try the jacket on. Much to my surprise, it fits me now! If I was a woman, I would probably cry. It looks like I will have to have it altered in order to wear it to her party. I never thought I would see that day come. Thank God for WLS ....

Congrats on the first of many great surprises to come. Don't get the alterations too soon--you'll probably be smaller than you think by Christmas!

Charles, Doug is right, wait till about 2 weeks before the party before having the suit altered, alot can change in the next couple of months.

Even when I hit my current weight (185 +/-) and stablized 4 months ago, my waist size dropped from a 36 then to a 32 now, all from working out and the weight redistributing itself due to muscle gain.

This whole journey has cost me hundreds, maybe even into the low thousands in new clothes, but I would rather have spent the money on clothes than food.  Be well and good luck to you.

John, Thanks for the support. Words can't describe how good I feel now. It's been at least 10 years since I have been this small and I can't wait to wear pants that start with a 3 instead of a 4.

Yeah - I know what u mean!!! I am into waist's that start with a 4 and not a 5 or 6!!

I wore my first pair of jeans in 10 years today!
