Protein Bars?
Hey Brad,
I do really well with the Pure Protein brand bars. You can get them at Wal-Mart over in the diet section for about $1/each. There are several different flavor, but they all have around 20 grams of protein, about 200 calories, and usually less than 3 grams. Just read the labels because I haven't tried them all, but I do recommend the Chocolate Deluxe, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Chewy Chocolate Chip.
I have done the South Beach ones also. The thing is that I now can't stand the chocolate, vanilla, PB, etc.... I have to do the granola style stuff. I do the Odwalla bars. They are granola based and have 16g's of protein.

I never use sugar or salt (unless I use the low sodium peanuts)....I use a sugar substitute and I also add unsalted crushed almonds, peanuts, sun flower seeds, cinnamon, couple of big honken' table spoons of peanut butter, crasins and rasins. Today we are making the brownies. I'll let you know how they come out.
