Approved

Well, after I intervened between the Bariatric office and my Doctors office on Monday to get the two sides on the same page things happened very quickly. I got the call that Cigna approved me today. Surgery on the 29th, two weeks liquid starting the 15th. I think I was really prepared to be denied since I do not have any comorbidities other than joint pain and to get approved in less that 2 days from submittal was a shock as well. I am nervous, scared, and excited all at the same time.  Thanks for all the support you guys have given me here, I will keep you updated. Troy

Congradulations, I have CIGNA as well and was told not to call for at least ten days to two weeks by my surgeons office. Right at the ten day mark I get a letter that I had been approved. I nearly fell over. I looked at the date of the approval and I think it was the next day after they got my stuff. I never thought it would happen that fast either. Hold on it will move along quicker than you think. pan head

Congrats on the approval!  I also have Cigna and was told how hard they were to deal with.  In my case I did not find that to be true.  Things went well.  The next few weeks are going to fly by.  The nervousness is normal.  Keep focused on your goals and get prepared for the ride.  Plenty of room on the losers bench.
