Morning guys... I want to try protein bars but can't find any that don't look like I would dump on. Which are you guys eating? Are you using protein bars?

I've had good luck with a variety of Atkins bars, including breakfast bars. Some are less than 200 cals, most have zero or 1 or 2g sugar and zero or very low surgar alcohols--plus 17-20g protein. Failrly tasty too.

I buy mine at Sam's Club. They are made by a company called Premier, are tasty and have 30 g of protein/bar, 280 calories, 80 of which are from fat.

Rockin Roll Bar, I get them at The Vitamin Shoppe.  Lots of peanuts plus soy, whey, and milk protein.  One bar last me a couple of days.  Brian

The store bought ones cost to much for me. I make my own....The only sugar in them is from the whey. I batch usually last me almost a month. I cut them up and freeze them. Then if I need one I'll nuke it and put alittle peanut butter on them. Dave

http://www.liftforlife.com/proteinbars....I haven't tried some of these yet, but I'm going to. I always and extra things to my bars like lightly salted peanuts crushed, unsalted almonds crushed, rasins, sun flower seeds and crasins....you can add whatever you like just remember to add just alittle more liquid. I always liked to experiment with food before my surgery and I still do. If you want the bars I make just e-mail me. Good luck,   Dave
