Should we start referring to you as carbonblobthornton or billyblob or billyblobthornton? Sorry to learn of your hassle and glad you are better. Thanks for the heads up about the flax oil. I've been avoiding it because of the yuck factor but your info explains some things--so it's back to the oil.

yep doug, better save than sorry. i still have the runs after taking four table spoons of the stuff and a ton of benefiber. i must be really blocked but the cramp meds help. i just have to get over this thing once and for all. it would be kind of funny if it's just a simple thing like adding oil again.......billyblobcarbonthorton

Sorry to hear you were in the hosptial again....can't they fix the blockage so you don't have any more pain?  As far as the flax seed oil goes...I use the lemon flavored one...it dosn't tast great...but it doesn't taste truly aweful either. Scott

thanks for the info scott. i didn't know they had flavors! well, they don't know for sure it's blockage. the gastro doc thought it was but my surgeon says no or maybe. so this is the first round to try and fix it. just try oil. i've had every test there is to find the problem. at least i know the surgery was perfect. no leaks or anything. it's just that i must not absorb too good and crap keeps building up in me and it starts to block. that's the theory anyway. so they feel oil might make it move on. so cheers, here's to oil! carbonblob
