Tuesday coffee talk
Morning Randall, A very timely post for me. The other day a fellow co-worker's wife had a baby, and he passed out small cigars. Not really good ones but not really cheap ones either. I haven't smoked in almost three years. When I quit I was smoking a pipe, but at one time when I drove a truck for the company I work for and I smoked fifteen panatelas a day, yea I know I was chain smoking cigars. I wanted that cigar so bad and I ended up with two of them on my desk. I looked at them a couple of days and then I took them and put them on the shipping desk and told the guys they were extras. The more I thought about it, I was afraid that if I had that first one that it would lead to another and then I would be buying a pound of pipe tobacco and I would be right back where I was three years ago. A lot of it is that I am healther than I have been in years and I don't want to screw up my hard work. Thanks for your daily posts. I look forward to them. pan head .
Hi Randall, First let me say that even if I don't have time to read all the posts for the day, I do try to read yours as I find it very uplifting. A truer message couldn't be said. We have to make a conscious effort to never go back to our unhealthy ways. What a shame it would be with all the effort and work we put into WLS to sabotage it and not succeed. Sometimes we can get lax and we must be aware of it and get back on the right track. But I don't know, I think you stumbled upon something. They say chocolate is an antioxident and you said you lost 4 lbs after eating it. I think we can try and incorporate it into a new diet. just think if we tell people you can lose weight by eating chocolate (especially women) we could get rich. I think I'll have to try this diet as an experiment and if I fail I'll just tell them "Randall said it was alright" !!! (LOL). Dan
