Hey all.  Lap Band here.  -89 lbs. in 13 months. In the summer of 2006, pre-op, I wore size 54 pants. I went shopping yesterday and bought size 40 pants! I am very proud of that!

You've a right to be proud. And by the way, did you like Mr. Cunningham in summer 2006, because today you look a lot like the Fonze! 38s only a few pounds away!

NSV = Non Scale Victory. It is something like I described here, that is a weight loss accomplishment not based on mere scale numbers. Is FART an acronym?

Holy crap...Non-scale Victory....now that's a new one on me! F.A.R.T. is indeed an acronym and it's much more appropriate than those sissy WOW moments that the ladies throw around at every possible whim.  For example:  Only gaining 3 pounds during her period is a WOW moment!  NO!  NO!  NO!  F = FANTASTIC
A = AWESOME
R = REMARKABLE
T = TREMENDOUS OR TERRIFIC
So FART to your hearts content!  Gas masks are not encouraged - a man must get the full effect of each and every FART! I don't know about anyone else in the Locker Room...I'm willing to give NSV a pass this one time, but moving forward this is one I think we should seriously consider boycotting. Cards Fan

Hey CF, Long time, no talk. How's bout' those rockheads, huh? They might sneak into a wildcard if we're lucky. Big series starting up with the dreaded Dodgers. Tough year for the Cards but Larussa has held them together with bailing twine and bandages. He's great. I also enjoyed seeing the comeback of Rick Ankeil. Amazing story, both positive and negative.  Hope all is well. Boner
