Hello Gerald, Immediately after WLS, I began using Bariatric Advantage chewable vitamins (multi, iron, calcium, B12). Labs were perfect after one year but the cost was very high imo. After 12 months, I switched to good old Sam's Club version and my 18 month and 24 month labs were still perfect at 25% of the cost. They aren't chewable but they obviously do the job and don't upset my stomach. The moral of the story with vitamins for me anyway is to: 1) take the vitamins every single day 2) take them throughout the day - for me 4X a day ( take the multi, calcium, B12 and fish oil first thing in the morning and when I get home from work. Iron at lunch and before I go to bed) 3) take iron by itself since it will "bind" with other vitamins and lose their effectiveness; also try to eat a little something (cracker, etc.) with the iron since it will upset my stomach when I don't. More info than you wanted but no extra charge.
