Chaffing talk - Am I the only one?
So as things get closer, I keep seeing sip sip walk walk. Now, I have no problem sipping but walking, yikes, I try to avoid it if possible.
You see, I am a little overweight.
My enormous thighs like to rub together when put into any sort of walking mode for any length of time that could be considered exercise. I have worked around this by going to the gym and using the eliptical.
Soo, the question today is.... Am I the only one that has this problem walking? Did it get better pretty quickly after surgery?
Any tips to cut down on it?
Thanks,
Troy

Hello My Texas Brother...
you are not alone....I think some time back, the guys on the board refered to them as Bacon Strips, on the inside of the thights...
They are nasty,,the seams of the pants or shorts just tear into your legs...and it gets worse before it gets better...
now on the up side....this is the type of thing that will get you approved for PS is you are so inclined...
but to help...
the recumabant bike, or the eliptical....they help...even with my mambo thighs....their pedels were positioned far enought apart to help...I guess we clamp our thights when just walking....least we look like we got the crotch rot...we I did....
The doc gave me some good creams...keep them documented...like I said..incase you want the PS

I have started to wear compression shorts and tees (the man boobs are drooping). I use UnderArmour. They run abour 25 for the shirts and 27 for the shorts. They work GREAT. I also load up on Gold Bond body powder!!!

There is also a gel available to deal with this problem. I have used it a couple of times at Disney World, and it works great. It is made by Monistat, but it is NOT a feminine product. I forget the name, but it is an anti-chaffing gel that you apply to the affected area, and it works great. We walked almost 5 miles per day at Disney, and I never had any chaffing problems the way I did on previous trips.

Put simply..... http://www.antimonkeybutt.com/ Best stuff in the world. Trust me boys. It was devolped by big guys who ride bikes. Anyone that rides a motorcycle knows the deal. Ever since I started using this stuff I have never chaffed again. But, recently for some reason my leggs have been shrinking!!!
