Hey guys, I just did a BMI calculation on my hospitals OH website under the Keith Gersin's Forum in NC and it says I have a BMI of 40.10 which is considered "extremely obese" Now this may still sound bad but considering on my surgery day I had a BMI of 54 (the max that the hospital will allow the surgery to have for risk reasons I guess) but Carolinas Medical Center defines that high of a BMI as SUPER MORBID OBESE....The good news, is in 5 or fewer pounds I'll be consider just OBESE!!!! How cool is that? HAHA

Very cool man.... Very cool. I feel ya I just went from a 44 to a 37 in a month. Cool stuff isn't it. How about the second looks you get from people that don't know what you did... Isn't it cool!

Congratulations S! The BMI is a fairly crude and general  tool But it's also pretty reliable until we get to be Muscle-bound. (considering that by BMI-Standards, Actors Will Smith and Harrison Ford are "Overweight," and Sylvester Stallone is Obese! (check it out...google search BMI & Sylvester Stallone.) But, it's a "rule of thumb" that serves us fairly well. Again, Congratulations on your life-changing progress. Keep It Up! Best Wishes- Dx
