Now I have heard it all.  I love the female Doc's line about it not being a "midtown tunnel", can't say I have ever heard it being refered to that way before either. But that does bring to mind the old saying about strapping a 2x4 across your ass so you don't fall in. If I ever look into one and see tracks I will think of the "midtown tunnel". pan head

And speaking of "depths," I'm a'feared about what other "orifices" might be traversed if "natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery" becomes, er, shall we say, widespread. To say nothing of unnatural orifices. Shudder.
