FART for me

I've been coaching soccer for the last few years but have been very limited in what I've been able to do.  I am now coaching my daughters team (mostly 6 and 7 year olds).  This past Friday we had practice.  I fully participated including drills where I and my assistant would chase the girls (teaching them to move with the ball and others and keeping it fun for them).   No knee pain, no back pain and a lot of fun for me as well.   Brian

Congrats Brian, Thats a lot of running. Those 6 and 7 year olds are fast little squirts. Its great to lead by example. Herb

Welcome to the new life phase of the post-op journey.  It just keeps getting better. Way to go there Coach/Dad!!   Thanks for sharing that exciting tidbit of inspiration and reminder why we did this to start with.

Could you come coach my daughters soccer team...the coach she has is pathetic!  Now, I'm sure you're thinking why the heck doesn't Cards Fan quit whining and pitch-in to help out the coach?  Because although my kid is playing - I know absolutely NOTHING about soccer and to be honest I don't care to...I'd rather watch paint dry or perhaps get get a bikini wax or hair removal where they rip the tape off your body!!! GO TEAM!!   Wake me up when it's over!  CF
