I weighed in yesterday morning and I am officially down 200 pounds.

Only 3 pounds to my goal and 28 to my Dr.s goal for me. I never dreamed it could be this good.

Hey GT Jason, congrats on your success.  You are at about the same place I was when i was a year out.  I hit my goal in less than 12 months, and 17 months out now maintain a weight in the low 180's.  Feels great to get the monkey (er..in our case, gorilla??) off your back, doesnt it?? Where are you located on the Eastern Shore?  I am originally from College Park, just outside of DC.  I spent many summers in Ocean City and know the area pretty well.  I've lived in South Florida for about 3-1/2 years.  I miss DC alot, but dont miss the winters. Anyway, keep up the good work.  Be well. John

Seemed more like King Kong to me.

If you summered in OC, then you definitely know where Easton is. You also would understand my commute, since I work in New Carrollton. The winters aren't all that bad, but being from Atlanta, I kinda like 'em and definitely don't miss the summers there.

Congratulations!!  What an achievement!.  Thanks for sharing and continued good success. I remember after 1 diet I had lost 128 lbs (did a great job gaining back then also), but anyway I was visiting some people in FL.  One mentioned to me it was like carrying his wife around on my back all the time(that was her weight also).  I looked over at her.  She was a young cute blonde.  I couldn't help it, I made some sort of comment to the effect that if that was I was getting rid of I was not going to be dieting any more.  (there were other comments in mind but I refrained). Jason Way to go man.  200 in 11 months is amazing. You had your WLS about a week before me.  I've lost 148 since then.  I try to carry all three of my kids around (they total about 110lbs) and I just can't believe I once carried them plus more around everyday.  It is mind blowing. Keep up the good work!!! All the best Chris 326/178/175
