This bites the big one....
Hang in there! Keep an eye on the bigger prize and why you are doing this. The surgery pain wasn't so bad. I went to Lowe's 3rd day postop and did my walking. Just remember sip sip sip and walk walk waalk.
The challenge later on for me was/is the mental adjustment and the eyes/brain not jiving with the portions. You'll want to eat more but you can't. So whatever you can prepare mentally now and keep in mind why you made this decision. You'll do great. Good luck!

And one thing that kept me going in the liquid stage was to realize "this is only x number of days to do this" out of my whole life - there will be many more days later.
And as much protein and variety as possible. I used Isopure liquid protein mixed with Diet V-8 Splash, low-sugar fruit juices; I mixed it to make sugar-free jello. I used high protein slim-fast, protein powders, chicken broth, egg drop soup strained, butternut squash soups, any of the box soups, beef broth, sugar-free popsicles, froze some crystal light for slushies and the crunch factor. Smoothies, diet snapple, hot tea, cold tea, flavored coffees - as much variety as possible.
