Update
It's been a while since I've been on the board. I had my surgery on 06/20/07. Prior to the procedure I had lost 30 Lbs and since then another 55 for a total of 85bs. I can eat most things but find that I am having a little trouble with steaks and a few other beef products. I'm hoping that this problem will will disappear. I rode my bike for the first time in two years on Saturday and after two miles I couldn't believe how much more energy I had. All in all I couldn't be happier with my journey so far. Only another 80 Lbs to go.

Cycling is the best. Soon you'll be plowing over all those hills in Coon Rapids. I grew up in Iowa so winters are brutal so cycling is nearly impossible. Spinning classes are a great substitute for outdoor cycling and in many ways are a better conditioning tool than the real thing. Best of luck, Dave and congrats.
