It Does Get Easier/Different, Each Week!
Yes, using the scales can make some crazy,
(Slower loss is Still Loss!)
-But-
Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!"
Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss.
I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more
If the numbers climb just a little.
That way,
I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine.
If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?"
Then STAY OFF of Them!
But for those who Are weighing in-
Drum roll--------------------------------------
Hop your Azz up on the Scales!
How much have you lost?
Since Surgery?
Or in Pre-Op Diet?

(NEW GUYS AND LURKERS?
Scan back over the last months of this weekly post,
And you’ll get a fairly clear picture of the fact that there isn’t a "Typical" progress,

Thanks for all of the support, advice, jabs, and fellowship. This is a great Board of guys!
Hey Guys, actually have no idea what weight I am this morning. I was under 220 the other day but then I've been away on a mini vacation the last three days and eating just about anything I want this weekend with no side effects. Which is great and bad at the same time I guess. Had my first stadium dog and a beer yesterday. Both were just OK. Pretty hilarious to get a buzz 40% down a longnecked beer. Any, so no weigh in this week. Just wanted to check in.
Blessings,
Greg
Hi Dx,
I am now 8 months post op. Everything continues to go well.
I'm still walking every day. For the last 3 months, I have been doing a total body work out 3 times a week with dumb bells. I'm using relatively light weights (10 pounders) with a lot of repetitions. This has really given me a lot of muscle tone.
I'm down 1 lbs. since last week. Overall, I'm down 127 since surgery, and down 146 from my highest weight!
Highest: 375 Consultation: 373 PAT: 361 Surgery: 356 Last Week: 230 Today: 229 I've added some new photos to my profile.

Hey guys!
I have my last Dr.'s appointment this week! YEAH!!!!! But I aslo got some bad new from the insurance person at my WLS office. It seems that there is a possibility I will be denied because I have lost so much weight, and been able to keep it off! Soon as I heard that , I wanted to stop off on the way home and start the Ice Cream Diet! You know the one, it's where you eat a 1/2 gallon of your favorite flavor everyday till your next apptointment !!!!!!!!
But good sense prevailed and I stayed strong! In the past 2 weeks, I have lost another 4.4 pounds! Count me in! One way or another, I am gonna do something about my SO CALLED FAT LIFE !
Have a great week!
