Bob McQueen - Wednesday 9/5 Update

I received a call from Lori McQueen at 7:52pm Central this evening...here's the update: Bob is still in CRITICAL condition and remains in a drug-induced coma.  Today the surgeons performed a minor procedure to reinsert an NG tube and  also check for leaks - none were found.  His bronchial tube was removed and put in a tracheal tube...this is not a reason for concern, the doctors felt it would be easier on Bob.  Lori sounded optimistic and felt things were going well today. More news when/if I receive... Keep the prayers and well-wishes heading Bob and Lori's way....our friend has been fighting this battle for 16 days now...he needs all the help he can get here on earth and from above! Thanks for the update. Boy, Bob is having a time of it, isn't he? I guess/hope he won't be aware of most it when he's finally out of the coma. I'll send an e-mail along to Lori and Bob.
