(She's european and obsessed with graciousness, not sure if there's a connection or if because I'm an American, any talk of graciousness really stands out)

Maybe the kid got a double whammy, low talent and no discipline.

i guess i had a real pity party because insisited she'll make another batch just for me! just shows how wrapped up i still am in food. so maybe i'm not that far apart from the kid. however, you're right, my parents tried like hell to make sure us kids were'nt ******** some of it worked. good point, he doesn't have a role model or parent who gives a **** how he comes off. well, he did offer to clean up. that went a long way with me......lol. so now i'll start dreaming about ribs again......carbonblob

Blob..... I re-read your first post....all his time I thought the man who lived next door was your son, and this was a grand son by new marrige.... In this case you never have to speak to them again...you really don;t have to invite him over..unless he matures Russ
