Finally! Paperwork all in!
Finally! After months of trying to get records together, today I faxed the last 3 papers to Barix insurance department.(who'd a thunk it would be such hard work to find proof of being fat!) I was waiting on records from one last doc from 2002, and I had to show I was almost done with my 6 month supervised pre-surgery diet.
I talked to the insurance rep at Barix, and she thinks I have everything we need.. finally. She was getting ready to leave the office today for the Holiday weekend, but said on Tuesday when she comes back, she will doublecheck everything, and send it all to my insurance co. She was pretty sure all we needed was those 3 papers. She's pretty confident of my chances.
After 3 years of false starts, delays, dealing with family illness, death, etc... it finally looks like it's my time, and the ball is rolling.
So, cross your fingers, pray for me, think positive thoughts, all of the above!
