CAT scan news - Kinda good!
I just got the results from my Dr. this evening and they are kinda mixed. The good news is that I don't have a tumor or a mass growing in there (just under my rib cage on the left side). It turns out that I have an incision hernia, most likely from the punching of a hole for the surgical instruments during my WLS surgery last year. Of course, I got the results 5 minutes after my WLS surgeon left for the long weekend, so I don't really know what the course of action will be till Tuesday, if then. Also, I am soo bummed because I just got on a roll with my weight training and I figure that I will be outta commission for an indeterminate amount of time. RATS. Also, I do have what is called a 3.5mm peri-pelvic cyst (whatever the heck that is) near my left kidney.
Considering the situation involving Bob in the hospital, I feel verry fortunate to have my problems indeed. Any comments or suggestions from similar cir****tances will be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Tony, Good to see your still kicking around to board my brother. Sorry to hear about the hernia, can you use it to help pay for some PS for the lower body? I'm still doing great, I have lost a total of 241lbs from 460lbs down to 219 and holding for the past 6 months. I have taken the summer off from the gym after 14 straight months but I still walk/hike 15-25 miles a week, play volleyball, shoot pool, and I have found that I can eat just about anything I want in moderation and I hover with 5 pounds of 219lbs now. To much fat still causes me to feel lousy and too much sugar give me a headache but overall I feel 20 years younger. I still have the ache and pains of an 48 year old somedays. Hope you get past this setback quickly and get back into your routine before you know it. Regards, Tim
