Pre-op goal weight in 22 days
So, I was 400.9lbs on August 8th when I had my first visit at legacy obesity institute. It's now August 30th... 22 days later and I'm 379.3... that's 21 pounds in 22 days.
Now it just sucks that I have to wait until Sept 20th before my follow ups with them before my charts get sent over to the surgeon... maybe i'll lose another 15-20lbs by then.
Exercise is a crazy thing... makes the weight fly off when you eat right and gives you energy.
Had to whip out the Big-azz Congratulations for you too!
The surgery will just be a "gear-change" and not a "take-off."
Keep it Up!
Best Wishes-
Dx

Capricious; Impulsive, Semi-Predictable
Massive my friend, now pre-up for the pysch job pre suregery of if I can do this now, why do I need the surgery cold-feet thing.
Without the surgery, you will probably follow the same old tired routine of dropping successfully and after a short while, putting it back on plus some.
As a pre Operative preparation so the liver is smaller and more flexible and the body is in better condition to recover fromt he stress of surgery, you are also giving youraself a lesser starting weight for the rapid weightloss process post-op and you will feel better sooner on th eother side. the Benefit od a new digestive system is a life changer. BAbsorbtion is different appetitie is different full-feeling is different, tastes ar different and attitutde will become different towards food and exercise. It is like it changes your body chemistry along with your plumbing. It is life changeing and very much worth it. It for me is a life experience I have never before had, having been big and dependent emotionally on food at all points of life previous.
You are doing fantastic, don't lose your focus on the goal. Get the carrot!
