____August 26th!
(Thoughts, prayers and well wishes
out for Bob and family....)
Congratulations and Welcome to our New Guys.
For those of you headed in next week--Have the Greatest!
For those of you just home—
"Keep Sippin' tha****er, and Walkin' Bunches"- Hang in there,
And all of you "Livin' on Liquid only Pre-Op Diets!! Same thoughts-
It Does Get Easier/Different, Each Week!
Yes, using the scales can make some crazy,
(Slower loss is Still Loss!)
-But-
Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!"
Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss.
I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more
If the numbers climb just a little.
That way,
I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine.
If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?"
Then STAY OFF of Them!
But for those who Are weighing in-
Drum roll--------------------------------------
Hop your Azz up on the Scales!
How much have you lost?
Since Surgery?
Or in Pre-Op Diet?
And has the Scale moved this week for you?
If so, How Much?
My Starting Weight? – 385 +
All Time Low – 179
Me?- 184
So, What about YOU?
(NEW GUYS AND LURKERS?
Scan back over the last months of this weekly post,
And you’ll get a fairly clear picture of the fact that there isn’t a "Typical" progress,
Just massive, persistent, overwhelming - PROGRESS!)
Keep It Up!!!
Best Wishes-

Hi Dx,
Yep, I keep checking back to see if there's any news about Bob and hoping he's okay. This is the first time I've seen anyone from the Men's Board have extremely severe complications.

Morning Gents!
I think I have reached somewhat of a stall. Guess what, it's my fault! I just finished my psychiatric evaluation, and only have 1 more visit to my Doc for the 6 month weight management program. For the last month I have been sabotaging myself with my eating habits. I have lost a total of 58.6 pounds, now I know this is good, but as I get closer to the insurance finish line, I 'm getting scared. Maybe I can do this, maybe I can't. i don't know. People keep telling me I don't need this surgery, I've lost this much weight by myself. So...the self doubt issues surface.
I know I am rambling. I just have one request...as we keep praying for our brother Bob, keep guys like me (I know there are other's out there!) in your prayers also!
Have a great week!
