First Post From The Other Side
Hey guys! I'm back. Surgery went fine Wednesday morning. My first walk Wednesday afternoon was an astounding 25 feet out, 25 feet back, collapse into bed, and GIVE ME DRUGS!!!
Things went up from there, and I was walking the halls pretty good by yesterday morning when I came home. My biggest problem now is gas something fierce. Walking doesn't seem to help, so I'm going to get some Mylanta.
Anyway, lots of the old-fashioned kind of FARTS today!

Hey Box! For that "trapped Gas?" A little trick from my Dr. Lay on your left side with your knees slightly bent. A pillow between your knees. In this position, because the way our intestines are arranged, Gravity will aid the natural peristalsis of the intestines And the "Trapped Gas" will "Pass on Through" much quicker. When you can, Walk. The motion of walking also helps greatly. That and Gas-X were Great for me. A heating pad on the back helps too. Only 3 days since surgery? Oh Yeah! That Gas can be a major Pain! Glad to see your home! Hope you’re feeling better soon! Best Wishes- Dx

Those farts are the worst....
when you feel like it...you can put the back massager, on a pillow on your belly...then yo have to relax....and let it set up a resonance...
oh...and never trust a fart....
