Surgery Went Well/Back From The Hospital

Hey Gang, I just wanted to let everyone know that my surgery went well on Wednesday, and I'm home from the hospital relaxing now. They surgery went very quickly, and it was all over in less than an hour.  My surgeon said she could not have asked for a better surgery.  She said she wished she had the proper equipment to photograph the whole thing because it was such a perfect surgery it should be documented in text books.  She also said that I had a perfect anatomy and everything could not have possibly went smoother.  I was up and walking about 3 hours after surgery, and after that they had a hard time keeping me down.  In the 2 days following the surgery I did 70 laps around the hospital ward, and at 17 laps a mile, that means I walked 4 miles!  I couldn't believe how good I felt!  All the nurses and my surgeon said they had never seen anyone do this good after the surgery!  My upper GI scan went perfect, and the day after surgery I tried water, juice, sugar free Jello, and Crystal Light, and I didn't have any problems with any of them. I'm home now, and the soreness of the incisions is setting in.  I've got my liquid Lortab though, and I'm keeping up my walk n' sip routine, so overall I'm doing pretty good.  Looking forward to watching the pounds come rolling off now!
