Creatine and NO-Xplode

Well, based on a few posts here from a couple weeks ago I went out and bought a jug of creatine and NO-Xplode.    Both somewhat kick my ass and I have experienced dumpiung from the carbs they have in them but I just suck it up and drive on. :)  (the creatine has 84 grams of carbs a dose and the NO-Xplode has 21 grams of carbs a dose)   While I haven't experienced the "mentail clarity" that the NO-Xplode promotes I do feel more 'swollen" after lifting, especially on arm day.   I also think the NO-Xplode is the culprit behind the extreme cramps and dumping that I experienced though.   The two days this week when I did take the recommeded 3 scoops I got extreme cramps similar, but not as intense pain, as the twisted bowel / hernia that I had surgery for around 6 months ago.   Oh, and the NO-Xplode tastes HORRIBLE!   It's worse than that crap they give you after your initial surgery.   If you can imagine the pro-stat protein liquid carbonated that would be how I would describe NO-Xplode. I think it's a little too early to tell if the creatine is paying off.    It tastes like Kool-Aid though.  :) Supplements I'm taking...  CoQ10, Milk Thistle, Up Your Gas, Multivitamin (2X day), fish oil, Vitamin C, B12 and ZMA before bedtime. On another side note, the creatine makes my pee smell like I just ate around 25 sticks of asparagus   I guess that's normal.   I drink over a gallon and a half of water a day so I figured it would at least dilute it a bit.  Anyone else experience that?

Wow - the carb counts on those products you're taking are off the charts.  The creatine monohydrate I take (powdered form) has no carbs.  This I just mix into my protein shake or into juice along with my glutamine powder.  I have seen Creatine powder shakes that are high in carbs but I stay away from those.  Also the BSN No-xplode that I've used only has 30 calories per serving and only 7 carbs. Shop around a bit - there are plenty of low to no carb alternatives out there...depending on what your goals are there's a supplement that will be engineered to meet your needs.  There's no reason to dump or make yourself sick...it's not worth it. Hi Kyp,

Uh-oh, I have NO Explode on order. I think the NO explode actually contains some of the newfangled creatine compounds, that the supplement companies say are better used by the body than Creatine Monohydrate.

Up Your Gas is a good one, but looking at the ingredients of NO explode, the two together might bring some side effects - something to check out. NO explode, appears to be a "body builder's energy drink" and Up Your Gas is an herbal concoction, containing at least 4 caffeine herbs and other herbs.

Too bad about the taste! I was hoping for something sort of tasty, but it does have a lot of stuff in it.

I'll report back when mine arrives,

Dave

If your dumping on NOXPLODE make sure your using like like 6-8ounces of water per scoop....I take 3scoops so 3x6oz of water.....its because its time released and absorbs in intestine....which well we have less of so it hits us faster and cafeine is a deriatic at those high levels.... which creatine are you taking? You should try CELLMASS which is from the makers of NOXPLODE which actually taste really good! (artic berry blast flavor) and which flavor are you using for NOXPLODE? the grape one taste like **** and the orange isnt bad at all but the fruit punch one is good stuff. Yes noxplode has a little of the new "good" creatine, that is the base of the CELL MASS they sell.... my 2cents.
