GNC has a return policy.  If you don't like it, take it back and they will refund your money.  They don't tell you that up front, but they will do it or exchange it, which ever you want.  I like the 100% Whey protein powder.  I mix 1 scoop with 6 oz. fat free skim milk for 27 g protein every morning.  What a great start to the day. Have a great day and good luck with the protein. No

If you check some previous post a month or so back you can find the shake bible...  Sorry, I forgot who posted it, but it is awesome.   I'm 4 weeks post op and still haven't found a good source, however I am getting ready to check out "Seans" reply.  I'll let you know.  Best of luck on the surgery, we will hold a seat for you on the bench. Even if you find a protein suppliment you like, don't buy a lot of it!!!! Your tastes WILL change after surgery and you probably won't like it anyway! GNC is where I bought my ISOPURE, it is a 20 oz drink that gives you the 40g of protein that my doctor recomended as the minimum to get in during the first weeks. It tasted like CRAP and left an aftertaste but drink it I did, just like medicine. I may be lucky but I never had an issue with hair falling out.
Get it hot, hit it HARD,

I had the same problem.  Bought all sorts of protein supplements but hate all of the powders.  I have finally settled on the liquid protein.  GNC has one that in 4 TBSP provides about 18 grams of protein.  New Whey has pre-measured 25 and 40 gram liquid protein supplements that taste pretty good and have no carbs.  JP

My suggesion is to go onto vitalady.com or bariatriceating.com and order a sample pack.   You can try them preop...but the reality is that your tastes can change so radically after surgery.  Things you like preop, may taste like garbage post op (taste buds kind of go back to normal within a few months).  Scott

I remember the recipes, Dx posted it.  Body Fortress at Wal-Mart is suprisingly good and cheap. I still do a shake occasionally and use the chocolate
