Catheter
Hey, I was worried about the same thing. Mine was put in during surgery and taken out the next day once I had gone for a few walks. It was not the best feeling in the world when it comes out almost like a bladder infection pain but it goes away. U wont notice it till your first walk and trust me u might be glad (depending on your pain level) that u dont have to get up and go to the bathroom. I too have a small pecker but they didnt seem to have a problem getting it in or out.
I was told that I would wake up with one but when I woke up they had already taken it out. May have been because my surgery only took 45 minutes.
This is the one thing that us guys really worry about. I guess that woman are right to some degree when they say we "think with our dick's". I had went through having one in a previous surgery and it's over before you know what happens. About like ripping off a bandaide, take a deep breathe and it's over in a second. Maybe I shouldn't have used the word ripping?

No big deal.
I had mine in for a day or two after both of my surgeries, and then when I was in the hospital in May for bacterial meningitis, I came out of the fever induced stupor with one in.
No problem. Just make sure they let the air out of the little baloon in your bladder befoe they take it out, or you'll see stars when they tug on it.
In all seriousness, it's a non-issue.

Come on Dave, tell us about those nurses again!!!!
Never had a catheter, don't know how they work NOR DO i WANT TO, I'm asking for an extra small one too.
BobM.
First thing I did when I came to after surgery was to reach down and see if there was a tube coming out of my schlong. Hehe! Don't ask me why that was the first thing that came to mind, but I guess I was worried about that too. Nope! And I didn't ask! So either they didn't use one or they take it out before you wake up. As far as getting a bigger wang when you lose weight... it's true! Or it seems that way anyway.
Let's just say I'm still a bit scarred...
I had serious complications (unrelated to the type of surgery I had--these were built in genetic complications) that kept me in the hospital for two weeks. Because of potential kidney damage, I had to have a catheter...which was given to me while in my pain induced semi-conscious state.
I still shudder...
