Monday Coffee Talk

Good morning everyone.  Time to get going.  It's Monday.  All day long.  Gotta make it a good day, right?!! Our challenge today is to shine.  Shine?  Yep.  Even though we are not lightbulbs, our lives shine to others.  They shine to our spouses, our children, co-workers, parents, siblings, to everyone we come in contact with.  People watch us.  Everyday of our lives and everywhere you go, you have someone watching you.  Is your light bright or is it dim?  What is your life illuminating?  It's important that we let people see us with a bright life and that we shine bright!  If we will shine bright, meaning good things, we can make a difference in this world.  I HAVE to let my children see brightness in a world that is so negative and dark.  How bout you?  What do those around you see?  A night light or a lighthouse? So?  Who's up this morning?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm sipping some awesome Sumatra Gold from Rivertown Coffee.  Sure is good too.   Y'all have a wonderful and blessed day as you SHINE!

OK,...shining,...got it. Getting excited about Sept gathering. Got a list of folks you're expecting so I can check their profiles and get brushed up on who they are and their journey in prep for meeting them down there? Seems this is a AL forum gathering and we're kinda tagging on? Thanks for  sharing the ordination pictures.  I recognized two OH friends from the boards. Chris M in NC has made noise about coming with me but no committment yet. Between trying to shine this a.m. I be sippin on some OJ and oatmeal squares (apple cinnamon, yum!).  My blender died this morning after I put my juice, yogurt, Whey powder and ice in, so, it when down the sink. Bummer.  Happy Monday!!

Last week of pre-op, next Monday at this time I'll be post op!!!  Wow.  I can't wait and yet I'm a bit apprehensive also. Last night the family and I watched the meorite show, we saw at least 7 awesome shooting stars with long tails, it was great and the girls were mesmerized!! Shine on, thanks for the continuing daily word of encouragement! BobM.
